Offshore - Embarkment 005

November 22, 2016

Fall time in Southern California is often when our offshore and island fishing both start really cranking.  For this embarkment we decided to sample a bit of both.  Skylar Crane, Randy Spizer and I started our day looking for tuna offshore.  We found them in a zone all by ourselves, inside of SCI with the porpoise.  We got a couple before things scattered and we decided to do the same.  To break the day up, we headed to the East end of Catalina and messed around catching bass, barracuda, and a couple small yellows.  The icing on the cake was finding a nice school of foamer YFT inside of Avalon on the way home.  These fish were moving quick, but wanted the iron.  Check it all out below.
